Job Summary:

B&B Plumbing and Heating is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial settings. This position requires technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and identify corrective actions.
• Provide customers with detailed explanations of work performed and answer questions regarding system performance.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and code compliance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HVAC installation and service experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: EPA Certification, HVAC trade certification, or equivalent required.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to read blueprints, and good communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation.
